This is a mount for a specific battery:
Antigravity Batteries ATX20-RS Lithium-Ion battery
(Battery not included with this mount!)
Switching to the ATX20 and this mount is saves roughly 34lbs compared to the OE battery and tray.
This mount will work with the stock engine or any engine swap. The battery is mounted below the location of the OE "vacuum box". The top tie-down has an access hole that allows you to push the RE-START button on the battery.
This mount may require relocating some OE items, see the install instructions below for details.
Options:
- Battery Cables: These are new positive and negative battery cables made just for this mount/battery. Saves you the trouble of having to make your own.
The wire is pure copper, fully annealed, with EPDM insulation. The outer sleeve is flame retardant, cut/abrasion resistant, and chemical resistant. - Starter Cable: This is a new starter cable to run from the fuse box to the starter. When combined with the battery cables above the install of this battery mount is quick and easy. The wire spec is the same as the battery cables.
- K-swap Heat Shield: This is an add-on heat shield specifically intended for K-swaps. It blocks some of the radiant heat from the header.
