Fits: 88-91 Prelude
Want to have an engine swap without the whole interior buzzing, vibrating, and rattling like like it does with engine swap kits that use polyurethane mounts? Want better ground clearance than other H swap kits? This is a clean sheet design by Prelude Engineering LLC that addresses many downsides of previous swap kits and represents an evolution of thinking - an engine swap that doesn't feel like an engine swap.
These are “swap brackets” not “swap mounts”. They bolt onto the engine and chassis and allow you to run OE rubber mounts in 3 positions to achieve a reduced-vibration engine swap.
A Prelude Engineering LLC traction bar is required for this swap due to engine and radius rod clearance.
The OE mounts you will use with this kit:
Rear: 88-91 Prelude (50810-SF1-000)
Right (trans): 88-91 Prelude M/T (50815-SF1-000)
Left (timing): 90-93 Accord (50820-SM4-020)

Chassis Type:
The manual transmission and automatic transmission chassis use different mount holes on the right side requiring two different styles of brackets. Select the chassis type of your car to receive the correct bracket.
Dual Height:
This kits allows for mounting the engine at two different heights; "high position" and "low position". The high position provides 7/8" or 22mm greater ground clearance than the low position.
High position is the default and recommended position, providing the best ground clearance out of any current or previous H swap kits on the market. Since the classic/typical H swap hangs notably lower than the OE engine this is a huge improvement and will make your swapped 3rd gen far more practical and drivable! The downside to the high position is that it requires cutting off some of the support structure under the hood, for valve cover clearance.
Low position is also supported if you add the low position spacer kit. This kit comes with extra spacers and longer bolts that will drop the engine down 22mm, similar to other H swap kits on the market.
Compatible with:
Engines: H22, H23, F20b, F22, F23
Transmissions: Any H-series manual transmission except ATTS. M2B4 is also not recommended, see warning note below.
Any Accord F-series manual transmission will also work by drilling and tapping the untapped Prelude mount holes on the case.
M2B4 LSD Transmission Warning:
The early LSD transmission (M2B4) has a wider case around where the differential is held, compared to other H/F transmissions. Prelude Engineering LLC does not recommend using this transmission! If you do decide to use it you will likely have to grind/cut part of the subframe to make clearance for the case and fill bolt. You will also need to use a custom short right axle from RAxles.
ALB Compatibility:
This swap kit will not fit with the OE location of the ALB components, nor does the required Prelude Engineering LLC traction bar have a mount for the ALB accumulator. You will need to relocate/modify those items or convert to standard brakes.
