Fits: 88-91 Prelude (engine swaps)
This traction bar replaces the factory unit and uses spherical metal rod ends on the radius rods instead of the factory rubber bushings. This helps reduce wheel-hop and other unwanted movement during launches. The traction bar also provides extra clearance around the motor.
H-swaps: This is required for radius rod clearance on a lowered car, header clearance, and also if you want room to fit an AC compressor.
B-swaps: This is only required if you want to fit an AC compressor. Might also be required with some header designs.
There are 2 optional ugrades:
Torque Rod: This torque rod comes with a block mount to match your engine and helps control engine movement. If you have filled or polyurethane mounts it's not strictly required. If you are using rubber mounts we highly reccomend running a torque rod.
Skid Bar: This runs under the engine next to the header tubes and functions like the stock piece. It hangs lower than everything else and will absorb impacts that might otherwise impact the oil pan, header, or transmission. We can't guarantee protection from all impacts but this will help quite a bit.
NOTE: If you have an engine swap we can only guarantee proper fit when used with Prelude Engineering engine swap brackets/mounts.
