Fits: 88-91 Prelude
This is a hood gas strut setup to replace the factory hood prop. It holds the hood open further than the factory hood prop, makes working in the engine bay easier, lets more light in, is better for show, and allows the engine/trans assembly to be pulled out of the top without removing the hood.
Comes in raw 304 stainless steel finish. Paint to your desired color or run it as-is.
No drilling required. 3 nutserts/rivnuts need to be installed in preexisting holes under the hood. You will also need to remove the hood travel stoppers so that the hood is able to open further than stock (easy).
