Finally, a K-series swap kit for 3rd generation Preludes!

Included in this kit is everything you need to mount a K-series into your Prelude:

  • K-series Swap Brackets
  • K-series Traction Bar w/ Skid Bar

There is also an optional skid plate upgrade for the traction bar. Also sold separately here: K-Series Swap Traction Bar Skid Plate

This kit is designed to give you the best possible ground clearance without requiring hood spacers or cutting a hole in the hood. However, cutting off part of the under hood support structure is required for valve cover clearance. Running a low profile oil cap and dipstick is also a required.

These are “swap brackets” not “swap mounts”. They bolt onto the engine and chassis allowing you to run a complete set of 4 Acura RSX Type-S M/T engine mounts. Like other Prelude Engineering LLC swap kits this allows you the option of running OE rubber mounts for the refined low vibration engine swap of your dreams.

It's also possible to use select aftermarket polyurethane mounts kits as well, if you want more of a race feel.

K-Series Compatibility:

This kit is compatible with most, but not all K-series stuff. Please see our blog post about parts compatibility BEFORE you buy/order anything:

K-Series Currently Supported K-Series Engines, Transmissions, Shifters, Wiring, etc

For any questions about compatibility not covered please contact us.

K24 Drop Spacer Kit:

If you want your K24 engine to fit under the hood skin you need to use the drop spacers on the left and right sides to bring the engine down ~20mm.

Chassis Types:

This kit is compatible with both the manual and automatic 3g Prelude chassis.

ALB Compatibility:

This swap kit will not fit with the O.E. location of the ALB components on ALB models. You will need to relocate/modify those items or convert to standard brakes.
