It's not possible to run the K-series engine-driven hydraulic power steering pump with this swap. It would be sticking out of the hood due to how tall it is. The solution for keeping power steering is switching to an electric power steering pump.
This is a mounting bracket for a Volvo electric power steering pump. This bracket locates the new pump at the left front of the bay, down low.
These are the Volvo years and models that have the correct pump: 2004-2013 Volvo S40 C70 C30 V50
