This adapter harness will allow you to connect select K-series engine harnesses to the 3g Prelude. It will work with the following O.E. harnesses or aftermarket equivalents:
- Civic Si 2002-2005
- RSX Base 2002-2004
- RSX Type S 2002-2004 (Required for 6-speed reverse lockout)
This adapter harness is engineered to provide full-fuctionality once installed. Speedometer, RPM, water temperature, charge warning, MIL, and oil pressure are all functional with the factory cluster. Fan and A/C control plugs are also integrated. This allows the K-series ECU (equipped with Hondata KPro) to properly control radiator fan and A/C actuation.
Connecting the adapter harness to the Prelude harness requires de-pinning 12 factory wires and inserting the new adapter harness wires in their place. This allows for a full no-cut/no-splice install that does not damage the O.E. harness and is easily reversible.
